Elliott's Shop and Museum

Elliott’s Shop and Museum is a unique collection of artefacts, photographs, records and ephemera depicting the life and times of the Elliott family. The collection is housed in a “time-capsule” grocery shop with living accommodation, which opened in 1902 and closed in the 1970s. The shop itself is a museum portraying the grocery shopping experience of the past, with original packaging and layout. The living quarters contain the ephemera depicting the life and times and changing social history of the Elliott family from early Edwardian times to the late 1990s.
