Cornwall's Regimental Museum

Archive of material including, books, documents, photographs and audiovisual material relating to the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry (and their antecedent regiments the 32nd of Foot and the 46th of Foot), and the Light Infantry, including regimental histories and archives relating to individual soldiers. The archive also includes material relating to the Victorian Keep built in 1859, that houses the archive and museum, originally the depot building of the Cornwall Militia and later the home of the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry and Somerset and Cornwall Light Infantry. It also houses material relating to the Walker Lines site, built to house troops in WWII and later used as the site of the Joint Services School for Linguists, during the Cold War.
