Comunn Eachdraidh Nis

Comunn Eachdraidh Nis was established in 1977. It records, preserves and promotes the history, language and culture of North Lewis for local and global communities and aims to promote social health and well-being through a range of activities for all ages.

The archive, housed in the old Cross School in North Dell, holds records on genealogy, churches, Merchant Navy, World Wars, schools, archaeology and much more.
