Queensferry History Group

Celebrating the heritage of South Queensferry, Scotland.

Queensferry History Group was established around 1994. Our main purpose is to reveal the History of Queensferry to local people and others elsewhere who have a local connection, through our research and large archive collection.

We are a registered charity, run by volunteers.
We give talks to local groups and schools on request and hold exhibitions of our research and archives. We also produce publications based on the History of Queensferry.

Many people seek the answer to their roots and we can help with their hunt for information. We are regularly asked for help tracing local family history and offer advice.

Our current project is updating our Archives and with a grant received from the Community Grants Fund, City of Edinburgh Council, Inveralmond Area, we are creating office networking to enable more efficient research and archiving.
