North Lochs Historical Society was formed in 1988. The group meets in the Community Centre in Leurbost and its activities cover the communities of Ranish, Crossbost, Grimshader, Leurbost, Lochganvich and Achmore..
The society organises regular winter talks and summer walks as well as occasional exhibitions and ceilidhs.
