Comann Eachdraidh an Rubha (Point Historical Society) began in 1982 and covers the area known as Point over the Braigh to the east of Stornoway.
The Society was originally based at Aird Schoolhouse, where it had exhibition and storage facilities, but had to vacate these premises when they were sold.
