Desford and District Heritage Society

Desford has a fascinating heritage, which reflects many of the social, industrial and cultural events of Leicester and Leicestershire through time. We feel, this deserves to be shared with our local community and much further afield.

We have extensive archives some of which can be seen on our website.  A group of dedicated archivists catalogue them..

We use this material to create displays at village events and larger exhibitions in the county.

The Society holds talks, bi monthly and arranges visits for its members.
