Ashby de la Zouch Museum

Our archives cover all aspects of the history of Ashby de la Zouch.  We have maps going back several hundred years, hundreds of photographs and a large quantity of documentary material.  The latter includes newspaper cuttings, letters, brochures, advertising material from local businesses, estate papers and all sorts of material from Ashby Grammar School.  We also have microfilm copies of the Ashby census records which have been indexed by one of our trustees.  We welcome enquiries from local and family historians and anyone else interested in the history of Ashby de la Zouch and its people.
