This website enables you to access collections of local photographs from the Lancashire area, as well as postcards and other images held in libraries across the county, as part of the Lancashire County Library and Information Service.

Featured are the people, buildings, streets, transport, architecture, customs, traditions and celebrations of the area.

Currently the website includes material relating to Preston and Chorley and surrounding areas; other areas are being added on a continuing basis.
