Lustleigh Society Open Day

The Lustleigh Society are holding an Open Day in Lustleigh Village Hall on Saturday 6th July, 10.30 – 3.30.
The Lustleigh Tithe Map of 1837 will be on view for the first time in many years along with the Apportionment giving details of landowners and land use. Visitors will be able to see newly acquired pictures and other significant items from the Archive.
There will be a display by the Kelly Mine Preservation Society and the Devon Family History Society will be on hand to assist with enquiries about family history.
Coffee, tea, cakes and other refreshments will be available all day! New and second-hand books of local and historical significance will be on sale and there’s going to be a raffle with quality prizes.
As well as providing an opportunity to learn more about the history of Lustleigh this event is a fundraiser for the Archive.
