Community Archives and Digital Preservation Survey

Dr Andrew Flinn and Alexandra Eveleigh (both University College London) are working with the Community Archives and Heritage Group (CAHG) to design guidance on looking after digital materials for those working in community archives. 

As part of this they would like to find out more about the digital materials held by community archives and the challenges faced in preserving them. 

CAHG invite members to fill out the online survey. Your help will be very important in drawing up guidance which meets the needs of community archives. 

The survey may initially look complicated and very technological but hopefully it is clearly explained and logical. In all it should not take longer than 30 minutes to answer. 

Only one response is required per group and for the most part the answers will best come from the person with the greatest technical / IT knowledge but there are also a few questions which may be best answered by someone else. If this is the case, please answer one survey collaboratively rather than try to complete several different ones.
