Stillington Community Archive includes the parishes of Marton & Moxby

We are a new community archive group formed in 2009 with a constitution, elected commitee and a bank account.

We are in the process of making digital scans of some 500 photographs ranging in date from 1880 to present day, we are also recording documents and oral histories and hope to include audio and video clips on the website when funds allow us to do so.

The website contains many links to both local and national searchable archives.

We are fortunate to have on our committee a local historian who has kindly given much of his research work to the community digital archive. www.stillingtoncommunityarchive.org

Our present temporary website is doing well and we are now fundraising to allow us to put in place a fully searchable website.

Phase 1
The project will take us from the earliest available records up to the mid 1960s.
Phase 2
Will take us up to present day and on into the future
