Hayward Memorial Local History Centre

Lingfield, Surrey

The centre is based in Lingfield Library.

The centre exists to encourage interest in local and family history in Blindley Heath, Crowhurst, Dormansland, Felbridge, Felcourt, Haxted, Horne, Lingfield and South Godstone.

The centre offers an extensive range of resources including census records, parish registers, large scale maps and photos.

The centre provides a microfilm and microfiche reader and there is access to the internet on the library computer terminals.

The centre is a partnership between Surrey Libraries, Surrey History Centre, the RH7 Local History Group and Felbridge and District History Group.
