Milton Keynes City Discovery Centre

Milton Keynes City Discovery Centre has an education department and a library. The library provides research support for geography and history students and answers a wide range of inquiries from the community.

The library archive has two sections:

1. A computer catalogued collection of 15,000 documents including; books, maps, reports, census data, strategic plans and periodicals relating to both the development of Milton Keynes since the 1960s and the history and archaeology of the area, including our site, Bradwell Abbey.
2. A collection of 10,000 photographic images illustrating the growth of Milton Keynes from a green field site including; aerial views, buildings, landscapes, parks, waterways, central MK, local centres, roads, sport and recreation. These are catalogued in a searchable database.
