The Community Archives website is run by the Community Archive Development Group (CADG).

CADG is a national group which brings together bodies and organisations concerned with Community Archives, and provides a forum for the regular exchange of views and information. CADG is affiliated to the National Council on Archives, which provided the start-up funding for this site. There is more information about CADG at the CADG website.

Website editor
The editor of Community Archives is Jack Latimer, a member of CADG (see above). He founded the My Brighton and Hove community archive and later set up CommunitySites, a web design company specialising in community, heritage and oral history projects.

Site design
The site was designed by CommunitySites, who also provided the content management system used to run the site.
