Since then, the town has grown beyond its original boundaries, but retains its essential character as a garden city.

Our Welwyn Garden city has been developed by local volunteers in partnership with the local library. As well as collecting local memories, the site will  showcasing the house history research produced by the Heritage Lottery funded 'Where do You Think you Live?' project.
