From Collection to Story: Turning Community Heritage into Meaningful Public Outputs

Drawing on Sound Waves: Music in Newham, a large-scale heritage project involving 69 oral histories and 70+ locations, the session demonstrates how dispersed material can be structured into narratives that work across exhibitions, publications, film and digital platforms. Designed for community groups and organisations, the session focuses on practical approaches to interpretation – supporting participants to move from raw material to finished work.
