Directions from M1
Exit the M1 at junction 38. At the roundabout take the second exit onto A637 (signposted Huddersfield) and continue for approximately 6 miles. At the third roundabout take the first exit onto A642. As you approach Huddersfield this becomes A629. On your way to Huddersfield town centre you will drive past a Lidl supermarket on your left, go through two sets of traffic lights and up to the large roundabout – the University will be on your left hand side. Please consider car parking in advance so you can plan your journey more efficiently.
Directions from M62
There are three junctions signposted to Huddersfield on the M62. We suggest that you exit the M62 at junction 25 as this is the easiest to find us from. Take A644 towards Huddersfield and follow this road for approximately 1 mile. At the roundabout take the second exit - A62 Leeds Road. Proceed along the A62 towards Huddersfield following signs for the John Smith’s stadium. After approximately 2.5 miles you will pass the Leeds road retail park on your left. Continue along the A62. At the next set of lights turn left onto Southgate. Staying in the middle lane follow the signs for the University. You will pass Sainsbury’s on your left, at which point you will need to keep right at the fork and go straight across the roundabout, following signs for the ring road. Please consider car parking in advance so you can plan your journey more efficiently.
