Stretham Community Archive is maintained by a small group of village residents and volunteers…

We are looking for photographs, postcards, drawings, leaflets, newspaper cuttings etc. and memories of the village that anyone would be happy to share online.

A bit about Stretham…

Stretham lies to the south of Ely at the crossroads of the A1123 and the A10. It has a Perpendicular church and a cross which is thought to date from about 1400. The Stretham Beam Engine, built in 1831, is a rare example of 19th century pumping engines used in Fen drainage.
