The Society was formed in 2006 by a handful of interested local folk inspired by the work of the late Donald Jarvis, who sourced and maintained a comprehensive collection of press cuttings of items affecting Stock and district.
The collection filled a considerable number of scrap books over a period of around 50 years! The Society has now swelled to well over 100 members.
