Steeple Aston Village Archive

Recording the history of two Oxfordshire villages

SAVA was founded in 2001 and is a small voluntary group researching, collecting and disseminating the history of Steeple and Middle Aston in Oxfordshire. We hold an annual exhibition and publish books on topics of local interest, and work with the Oxfordshire Buildings Record on investigating historic buildings in the villages.

Our big project for 2013 is replacing our out-worn accommodation in the village hall with a new extension to house improved archive facilities and a project room.
