Polonia Northern England (PNE)

Polonia Northern England (PNE) is a charitable organisation established to preserve and share the heritage and history of the post WW2 Polish emigrants in resettled in areas of Northern England.

We hold a collection of photographs, documents and films which will soon be accessible and we are looking to expand our collections to cover the wider area of Northern England to showcase the history of Post WW2 Polish emigrants including ex-service personnel and their families who arrived in Great Britain in the late 1940s to resettle in various regions of Northern England.

PNE aims to create and develop permanent and extensive community archives with access to various collections and memorabilia to showcase the heritage, history and contribution of this dispersed and resettled community.
