Survey at Abbey Close Secession Church Graveyard, opposite Paisley Abbey
The Heritage Buddies community archive contains primary material covering historic graveyards in Renfrewshire.
The archive contains newly created lair plans, dimensions & conditions of monuments within each graveyard, fresh trnascriptions, and photographs.
The project is currently on going and mainly covers the 18th century onwards. Survey records are in paper & digital format along with digital images. We estimate a photogrpah archive of around 12000 images, probably more, and records of around 3000 monuments.
