Churt Heritage

Research collections relating to the village of Churt in Surrey formed to ensure that personal researchers have a central place to store their work and results.

The archive is still a work in progress. We have a large amount of written material and photographs and some artefacts currently stored in the dedicated archive room in the sports pavilion on the recreation ground. The material has been labelled and catalogued. Much of the material is also available on-line. We have a Facebook page and have launched a website, churtheritage.co.uk.  This is the gateway to all of the material held electronically on the G: drive and includes a link to the catalogue of the material we hold in hard copy.

The society is publicised in the village and we currently hold about two or three events (lectures, walks) each year. All residents of the village are automatically members of Churt Heritage. There is no subscription fee.
