Byfleet Heritage Society

Byfleet Heritage Society was founded in 1996 when we opened the Heritage Room at Byfleet Community Library. We aim to present and explore the history of the ancient Parish of Byfleet, which includes Byfleet and West Byfleet.

We are an active Society holding monthly talks and a drop-in session on the first Saturday morning of the month (10.30-12.30). We publish a yearly Journal with articles researched and written by members, and we maintain a collection of pictures (original photos and postcards and scans) and items covering Byfleet’s history – mainly from the 20th century.
