The Long Shop Museum

A collection of 2000 documents and images appertaining to the Garrett Works and Leiston-cum-Sizewell from c.1789 to 1984.

The collection includes letters, ledgers, personnel records, indenture documents, and technical and sales literature relating to the Garrett Works and its products and work force. There are also many photographs and prints of the factory, town, and local people across the period.
