Hoy Heritage Centre

We are a community run venue sharing the heritage of Hoy. We offer cultural events, exhibitions and a community archive. Our building, a former 19thC church, is always all year. Free entrance.

Our exhibitions, displays and archive material cover many subjects including The Old Man of Hoy, Family history, Shipwrecks, Archaeology, Music, Art, Transport, houses and life in Hoy. We have a well stocked library and folders to browse. We have changing exhibitions, films and audios. We have a natural history room with over 100 books on flora.

And for your comfort we have toilets, a kitchen where you can make a cup of tea and the kirk is set out with table and chairs.
