Chedham’s Yard in the village of Wellesbourne, Warwickshire, was voted winner on the 2006 BBC2 television programme Restoration Village. The yard has remained virtually intact since the mid-19th century and was purchased by Wellesbourne Parish Council in February 2002. Winning the title has meant that funding will be available to develop the site into a heritage centre.
