The Value of Volunteering

The fourteenth annual quality forum for archives and local studies
The National Archives, Kew

Wednesday 4th November 2008

This year, the Public Service Quality Group (PSQG) Annual Quality Forum focuses on the ever-increasing importance of the work volunteers undertake within archive services. Pressure on record offices to be creative in the way they deliver services and meet growing user expectations has never been greater. Working with volunteers can be immensely rewarding for all concerned, and can have a huge impact on the services a record office can offer.

We are delighted to announce the full programme for this year's Forum which is available to view here.

A warm invitation is extended to all those who wish to learn more about how volunteers can contribute to the work of our archive services.

To book your place, please download the form here and return with your payment by 31 October 2009 to Louisa Macdonald, London Metropolitan Archives, 40 Northampton Road, London EC1R 0HB or email: louisa.macdonald@cityoflondon.gov.uk.
