MDMArchive is an online user-led archive designed to celebrate Greater Manchester music, protect its heritage and promote awareness of its cultural importance.

We are a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers.

Our Archive currently contains 2443 bands, 268 DJs, 645 venues and 4603 artefacts. all of which have been uploaded by our users.

Artefacts include tickets, badges, press articles, flyers, gig/club photos, membership cards, records, tapes, CDs, artwork, garments, contracts, autographs, posters, programmes and more.

Our archive is concerned with music-making in Greater Manchester from the birth of the Hallé Orchestra in 1858 to today.
