Hooe Primary school has been working in partnership with Plymouth and West Devon Record Office on an Extended Schools project in order to create a community archive.

Pupils from the school looked at some archives held at their local record office and interviewed ex-pupils and local residents in order to gain a clearer picture of the past.  Pupils wanted to find out more about their local community, what it was like being a pupil at the school in the past, living through the Second World War and how the area has developed over the last 100 years.
