Description: The Friends of Gloucestershire Archives (FoGA) are seeking a Your Heritage grant to capture, preserve, celebrate and share Gloucester's rugby heritage. They will encourage and enable the local and wider community to engage with the Club's heritage via online community archive (documents, photographs, video/sound recordings) and other means of interpretation including displays at Gloucester Rugby Football Club (GRFC). Sawston Cinema Archive Project

Description: The project will enable young people to trace the history of cinema in Sawston. The project will focus on a former cinema building adjacent to the college which was closed in the 1970s but is currently being re-established as a cinema. The young people will be working with Sawston Village History Society to make a film, recording older people's memories of the original cinema. Information collected and recorded will be put on a dedicated website and fed into the Cambridgeshire Community Archives Network (CCAN). The young people will receive training in oral history and film-making.

Summary of project A project by this community group to establish and maintain a photographic archive of Woodford Halse for the benefit of residents in the village and those living in surrounding Hinton and West Farndon, Northamptonshire. The archive will be made available to local communities and educational establishments for local heritage purposes. The grant will pay for IT and software, refreshments, stationary, insurance, presentations and events.
