Glasgow Women's Library

The Glasgow Women's Library holds a number of collections relating to women and womens' organisations in Scotland.  These include:

  • national Lesbian Archive and Information Centre
  • Edinburgh Women's Centre
  • Camden Women's Centre and Black Lesbian Group
  • Women's Church Resource Group
  • Lesbian Line
  • Scottish Women's Aid

The library recently received a grant of £410,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund which will enable it to move from its temporary accommodation into new premises at the Mitchell Library, creating the first ever Women's Archive in Scotland
