The Soldiers of Oxfordshire Trust was formed in 2000 in order to improve accessibility to the military heritage of the county. The collections of the Queen's Own Oxfordshire Hussars, The Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry and Oxford University Officers' Training Corps comprises Militaria, Archives and the ever-increasing output of research. These three collections, the searchable catalogues of which are hosted online by Oxfordshire County Council, form the raw material of research for all kinds of projects from geneaology, through school projects to serious military research.
