The Aldridge Local History Society was formed in 1992 and now has over 100 members. The society holds regular monthly meetings, at which there is a varied programme of events, involving visiting speakers recalling various aspects of Aldridge's history and that of the surrounding districts.

Thanks to the expertise of some of our members three videos about Aldridge have been produced. These have proved to be extremely popular and are also used in local schools as teaching aids.
