We are a group of mainly local residents who meet at Even Swindon Community Centre, Jennings Street, Rodbourne, Swindon, 7pm to 9pm on the last Wednesday of each month. We run a membership which raises much needed funds as we are self funding. A years Full Membership is £10 per person or £15 for a couple . Members receive free copies of our quarterly newsletter the 'Brick Wall'. Our aim is to make all the information we collate available to the public via the World Wide Web, talks to various groups schools and through exhibitions. Since the formation of the group in 2003 we have had very successful exhibitions which attracted some 1100 people. Present and past residents have donated over 2000 photos and memories which have been added to our digital archive and are now gradually being added to our website . Through the members spending many hours in reference libraries and record centres we have extensive information on the area and would be pleased to answer any questions.
