The group are looking at the history of their village using a thematic rather than chronological approach. There will be research carried out into the history of the houses in the village, together with the recording of these buildings through photography and the work of a local artist.

Local people will be encouraged to add to this element by providing training for them to research the history of their own houses. There will also be training and material provided for an oral history project to be carried out by local residents and the school to capture the memories of residents living in the village.
