The website www.untoldLondon.org.uk describes where Londoners of many races and faiths can find their histories in the capital - whether in museums and galleries, or through the archives and exhibitions of community groups.

During October we're running a Black History Month Journalism competition.  We invite members of the public to write 500 - 1,000 words on any piece of Black history connected with London.   There are prizes for everything we publish, with digital cameras for the winners.  There are 2 categories: over and under 18.

See www.untoldLondon.org.uk  for further details.  The Editor would also be glad to hear from you if you've got a London-based community archive that you think should be featured on untoldLondon.
