Fakenham and District Community Archive
based in Fakenham, Norfolk.

We are a local group of enthusiastic volunteers who are dedicated to building an archive of photographic and media memories for people in our local community to access and enjoy.

We meet regularly at the Library in Fakenham on the last Wednesday of each month between 2.00 pm and 4.00 pm, where many pictures are available for visitors to view - some still awaiting positive identification!

During monthly sessions our friendly team of volunteers are always
on hand to scan pictures and gather information.
As often as possible we arrange slide shows and interesting talks by local historians or speakers.

Our website shows only a sample of the many hundreds of photos in our archive, but for those of us who enjoy looking back to the days of our forefathers our pictures can take us there in a way that nothing else can.
