Our Hertford and Ware is part of the Herts Memories network of community archives. It has been funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund as part of the Making Memories project.

Hertford is the county town of Hertfordshire, and Ware is close by. Both towns have ancient foundations and a traditional rivalry between the two has existed for many generations.

The website has been developed by local volunteers in partnership with Hertfordshire Archives and Local Studies.
