Archives Landmark Award

This award recognises the achievement of learning partnerships between archives, schools, youth projects and community groups in London.

Over many years inspiring, original and imaginative projects have been created using archives. People have celebrated their local communities through art and architecture, performance, reminiscence and by improving the local environment.

The Archives Landmark Award, given by the City of London through London Metropolitan Archives, has been established to recognise this work which uses archives, contributes to learning, raises awareness of shared heritage and strengthens local communities.

The award is open to archives, schools, community and youth groups based in London whose work has made a real difference. Projects can have taken place between 2001 and the present. Entries are welcome from groups or individuals.
