The archive is of the ancient market town of Pocklington and surrounding villages in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
The Pocklington & District Local History Group was started in 2007 and aims to promote and record the history and heritage of the area. We have put our effort into creating a website and digitally storing photographs, recordings, documents and family histories of peoples in the area. We also hold the Digital archives of the Bishop Wilton Local History Group now disbanded.
