Connecting Histories

Lunch break at Dudley & Dowell Foundry, Cradley Heath

'Connecting Histories' is an innovative partnership project led by Birmingham City Archives, the University of Birmingham, Warwick University and 'Black Pasts, Birmingham Futures' and supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Running from April 2005 to July 2007, it aims to increase access to culturally diverse archive collections, promote learning and community engagement.

The project will be working with a range of collections reflecting a number of different communities, groups, individuals and areas of work and interest. These collections are detailed on the project website.

If you would like to take part in the 'Connecting Histories' archive user or volunteers groups, or receive updates about the project, please contact us.
