As an editor at community archives may I draw your attention to the medical collections group based at Thackray Medical Museum Leeds http://www.thackraymuseum.org/ The group is conducting a mapping exercise to identify museums, archives and libraries across the UK with medical links. I urge you to contact the convenor at UKMCG@thackraymuseum.org and get your health related archive on the map. If you don’t have health related material, is there someone is your neighbourhood who has? Please search out local hospital museums, medical record offices or libraries and let them know about the project. If you have a lead you’d like me to follow please email me at community archives.
